If you are going to write a fantasy novel, a genre that is possibly the most cliche riddled in literary history, don't you think you'd shy away from the whole 'village boy and a dragon beats the evil king' type narrative?

I meanm, can someone please name one mythical land that is not ruled by some sort of evil lord? Or name one evil force that ISN'T triumphed by some peasant from a random settlement of human-types?

I don't know what I have come to expect from a 15 year old novelist, but gosh, why bother wasting years of your life writing a book that has already been written. Several hundred times beforehand.
