STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION - ULTIMATE COLLECTION

Just in case you were as curious as I was, this is the Star Trek: Next Generation Ultimate Collection. It comes out 4 days before Christmas if anyone's interested, and as I think I've already established, people are. Retail price is $279.83. Steep. But don't take my word for it.
I give you the EzyDVD online sales pitch:

"Space... The final frontier... These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission: To explore strange new worlds... To seek out new life; new civilisations... To boldly go where no one has gone before!" It's Star Trek, but not as we know it! STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION on DVD and with completely NEW packaging.

Well it's good to know that the boxes are embossed with metal and felt now, as I'm sure your other ones are all worn and soup-stained out. And gee, a certificate of authenticity. The perfect means of confirming the fact you just spent 280 smackers ON STAR TREK!!!
Honestly, if I could label the worst possible Christmas gift someone could get me this year, I'm pretty sure nothing would even come close to the disappointment and horror I would experience upon tearing away the giftwrap to reveal this monstrosity. Peace out.
