Cancer sucks. But let's face it, so did she.
How can people pretend she didn't? You know, just because someone dies doesn't mean you have to say everything they ever did was fucking amazing and graced by God's divine influence. She was on Home and A-Fucking-way, for christ's sake.
"I have never felt so moved and upset by a person's passing than I have by Belinda Emmett's. It is a month on and I can't stop crying everytime I am reminded. She is a young beautiful woman so positive and full of life and she had so much life to lead. She had met her soul mate, who loved her for the person she is and it is just so heartbreakingly tragic that their life together was cut so short. Her passing not only serves to remind us of how short life really is, but that we need to live every day as if it could be our last and live to the fullest of our potential, laugh lots, don't let the small things get us down and be thankful for all the wonderful things that we have, our health, our family, our friends and our ability to love. My heart goes out to Rove and the Emmett family. May you be at peace now beautiful Belinda."

"The news of Belinda Emmett's passing made my heart sink. I've always admired her and loved her gentle yet effervescent spirit. Whenever I saw her on tv or saw an image of her in a magazine, I'd always notice that incredibly beautiful smile, and her wonderful radiance! Also, her wicked sense of humour."

Yeah, where were all you people when she was trying to launch her music career and failed like the little gremlin she was??? Shower the People, indeed.
